I based my diorama on the efforts of a foundation to help clean up the worlds beaches and oceans. This foundations happens to be one I am a proud member of. I look forward to seeing their future achievements in water, beach, and ocean conservation!

Relief Poster (social commentary)

For this we had to create two Relief Posters. We had to use the formal elements of art and design to express our opinion about an event or situation. We either had to change the meaning, enhance the meaning, or create a focal point using design. 




My first poster was based off the social issue of child soldiers. I decided to change the face of the original image and make a commentary of my own to stop the use of children in warring countries as soldiers.

I used cut-out AK-47 to represent children.

The tags act as IDs like a morgue would use.

My second poster was based on the idea that in the world we live in today we must stand and fight for our ideas. Innovation is the only way to progress and achieve what you want in society today.

I recreated the image adding a 3D effect. The
pencils fit inside the gun mag and have
inspirational quotes printed on them.

Body and Form

We had to create a form to be worn on our bodies and presented in a shadow show.

I created a piece of coral w/fish and bubbles
